Laser rooms and technology
The high-tech venture that developed the laser rooms: a technology for communication between the human brain and the computer, measuring attention span and quality, coordination between the brain hemispheres and eye movement.
Our Technologies

The Laser Rooms
A completely dark room. A smoke machine streams haze into the air, so the laser beams become visible. The student fights the laser beams: when he blocks one beam, another one lights up. The beams come from four angles. During practice the computer measures attention span and attention quality, the communication and transmission between the brain hemispheres, eye movement and more.
Credentials
The laser room project is an engineering project. Our engineer, Michael Harouni, developed the laser rooms as his final engineering project, and thanks to the project he received a B.Tech degree and engineering certification from two schools: the Academic College of Judea and Samaria and ORT Singalovski. The technology itself received a grade of 100. The grade sheet seen in the film shows 90, because some paperwork was missing.
Hardware
The original prototype was built by hand: the motherboard carries 5 CPUs, and the I/O board carries one more. Altogether it is a technology with 6 CPUs. Each hand has its own sensing sensor.
Why 6 CPUs? The brain transmits analog signals, continuous waves, while the computer lives and thinks digitally, in ones and zeros. The CPUs convert the analog fluctuations of the brain and body into digital language in real time, so the computer can measure attention, reaction and the coordination between the brain hemispheres.
